Images of Menorca.
The photographs of Menorca on this site are basically not intended to show you pretty yachts and turquoise water such as this picture of Cala Macarella and Cala Macarelleta. They are a reflection of how I see Menorca. Most people who live here see this, although I know many long-term residents who haven’t visited even half of what Menorca has to offer such as Cala del Pilar or Cala Presili. Think of Menorca as a big cupboard with many drawers, there is always somewhere interesting to go or see. The best time to visit Menorca is from Feb - May and Oct - Dec.
Obviously Menorca has more to offer than just beaches such as Binibeca try a peaceful afternoon at Cap de Favaritx or enjoy the views from El Toro which at 358m is the highest point of Menorca. The fastest part of Menorca has got to be the aerodrome in Sant Luis where formula one teams test their cars, here is a photo of BAR Honda testing in Menorca , Lewis Hamilton who tested in Menorca on January 28th 2008.
Although Menorca is only 26 miles long by 16 miles wide it offers over 100 beaches and diverse landscapes.
I have lived in Menorca since February 2004 and rarely leave home without a camera. This website is a labour of love, my enjoyment of being outdoors observing Menorca and its people feed my passion for creating images of not only what I see, but what I feel, as well.
Relax and enjoy your time here, allow your mind to wander. Let me share with you the beauty that I have been fortunate to observe in Menorca. It is my hope that my photographs leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and more deeply and personally connected with Menorca.
